Who Provides These Tools

The Tools Are Free and Provided “As Is”

You may use our receipt and invoice generators for your business as often as you like, free of charge.

We aim to keep the tools available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that the website or any tool will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove any free tool or feature at any time and without prior notice.

You Are Responsible for Your Documents

You are responsible for the information you enter into your receipts and invoices. This includes checking that names, amounts, dates, tax details, descriptions, and all other information are accurate and complete.

A receipt or invoice created through PaperlessNaija represents a transaction between you and your customer. PaperlessNaija is not a party to that transaction and is not responsible for resolving disagreements about payments, deliveries, services, products, debts, or other matters between you and your customer.

We Do Not Keep Copies of Your Documents

Documents created using PaperlessNaija are generated on your device and are not stored on our servers.

Because we do not keep copies, we cannot recover a receipt or invoice if you lose it, nor can we resend or restore it for you.

Please keep your own copies of important documents. We recommend downloading your PDF documents and storing them securely.

VAT and Tax

Our tools may allow you to add VAT using a rate that you select.

You are responsible for determining whether you are required or permitted to charge VAT and for complying with applicable tax obligations. Your VAT status and tax obligations are matters between you and the relevant tax authorities, including the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) where applicable.

PaperlessNaija does not verify your VAT registration or tax status. Adding VAT to a document through our tools does not register you for VAT or create any tax registration or obligation on your behalf.

Acceptable Use

Our Content

The PaperlessNaija website, including its design, layout, text, code, graphics, branding, logos, and other original content, belongs to Hchuks Technologies Ltd. or is used with permission.

You retain ownership of the documents and other business information that you create using our tools.

Using PaperlessNaija does not transfer ownership of your documents to us.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hchuks Technologies Ltd. will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from or relating to your use of PaperlessNaija or its tools.

This may include, without limitation, lost income, lost or unavailable documents, business interruption, customer disputes, inaccurate information entered into a document, or other losses resulting from your use of the service.

The tools are provided free of charge, and you use them at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Other Services

PaperlessNaija may contain links to other services, including NairaTrack or third-party payment providers.

Those services operate separately from PaperlessNaija and may have their own terms, privacy policies, and other conditions. If you use a separate service, its own terms will apply.

Any paid products or services offered by us may also be governed by separate agreements or terms rather than these Terms of Use.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any legal matters relating to these Terms or your use of PaperlessNaija will be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of Nigeria.
