How PaperlessNaija Handles Your Data

PaperlessNaija’s receipt and invoice generators run entirely in your web browser.

When you create a receipt or invoice, the information you enter — such as customer names, phone numbers, addresses, item descriptions, quantities, prices, dates, tax information, payment details, and other document information — is processed directly on your device.

This information is not sent to our servers. We do not receive, access, or store the information you enter into your receipts and invoices.

We therefore do not have copies of the documents you create and cannot retrieve them for you if they are lost.

You are responsible for saving and keeping copies of any documents you create.

Your Business Information

PaperlessNaija may allow you to save your own business information, such as your business name, address, phone number, bank details, and logo, so you do not have to enter the same information every time you create a document.

Where this feature is available, this information is stored locally in your web browser on your device.

It is not uploaded to PaperlessNaija’s servers.

If you clear your browser’s storage, website data, or browsing data, this information may be deleted.

No Document Data Is Stored on Our Servers

We do not operate a central database containing the receipts, invoices, customer information, or business information entered into our document generators.

Your documents are created locally in your browser.

  • We cannot see the information you enter into a document.
  • We cannot access your customer information.

  • We cannot recover a document that you have deleted or lost.
  • We cannot provide a copy of a document because we do not have access to it.
