How paint sellers use a receipt
Paint sellers sell to painters, contractors and homeowners. Painters often buy for clients and need a receipt to show the client what was spent.
Writing the items on a paint seller receipt
Use one line for each thing the customer paid for, named the way your customers know it, for example Emulsion paint, Textured paint, Rollers and brushes. Enter the quantity and the price for one unit, and the generator works out each line and the total. Then choose how the customer paid, cash, transfer or POS, because that is the first thing anyone checks when a payment is questioned.
Tips for paint sellers
- Write the brand, type and colour.
- Write the bucket size.
- Record who paid.
Keeping your records straight
Each receipt gets its own number, and the next one moves up by itself. That makes it easy to find a payment when a customer says “I have paid”. Save the PDFs in one folder on your phone, or let NairaTrack keep them for you.
